Under the constitution of the Masonic Youth Welfare Fund, each Masonic Lodge in NSW and the ACT is encouraged to appoint a Representative to the Fund who shall be the Lodge Collector. Any Lodge outside the Metropolitan District may appoint a City Representative.

The Governing Body of the Fund is the Executive Committee, consisting of a President, two Vice-Presidents, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, and 10 members who are Lodge Representatives. From these members various sub-committees are appointed, such as: Management; Sustenance; Finance; Prizes; Publicity.

The Fund is very much a voluntary organisation with a dedicated band of voluntary workers, professional and honorary advisers, and a salaried staff of only four. It is financed totally by voluntary contributions and income earned from its carefully managed and controlled investments.
