Helping children become responsible adults
Firstly, you can keep an eye out for needy children and refer them to the Fund so, together, we can give them an equal opportunity.
Secondly, your generous donations, bequest and ongoing support will help us to continue the essential task of providing the base upon which needy children can achieve their full potential. Please remember, without your help, the future of needy children in our care could be quite bleak and with little hope.

Keith, Lionel, Graham and Bob, four freemasons, successfully raised $31,500 for the Masonic Youth Welfare Fund by running a raffle with the first prize a Proton "Satria" motor car. Valued at $15,600, and with registration and on road costs covered, the car was supplied at cost by Kim Dale of Coffs Harbour Village Motors.
It began when Keith Spencer, of Lodge Coffs Harbour, felt inspired to do something big in freemasonry and in particular, for the needy children assisted by the Masonic Youth Welfare Fund. He generated interest in the challenge and formed a four man Committee consisting of fellow freemasons Bob John, Lionel Lee, and Graham Hanson.
Their objectives were to raise about $10,000 for the needy children assisted by the Masonic Youth Welfare Fund and raise as high as possible the profile of the Masonic Community.
They displayed the prizes in shopping mails up and down the coast and fervently sold the $2 tickets with the help of local masons of each area. Sponsors assisted with printing and petrol.
The Coffs Harbour Catholic Club offered their foyer to display the car and promotional material, and sold tickets. Other clubs on the coast requested similar opportunities. The promotion was also supported with radio interviews, advertisements and signage. Tickets were also sent to all the masonic lodges in NSW and ACT.

Corporate Support
Naturally, we and the children in our care would be delighted to receive any form of corporate and business support. It can be regular or annual donations, supply of voluntary or honorary services, or donations contributed by company employees.

Bequests
A bequest is an ideal way for your memory to live on and on through the youngsters who will form this country's great future ... with your help.
Your bequest can be a torch providing a guiding light to the children in our care, and those who will come into our care in the future. Allow your torch to burn forever by way of a bequest in your Will.
With your help we can give youngsters an equal opportunity, however, as we receive no government funding, we rely on donations and, more especially, bequests to ensure these young people can be helped towards becoming responsible and valued members of the community.
It's quite simple to continue your help into the future ... there are several types of bequests by which you can remember the Masonic Youth Welfare Fund of NSW & ACT. You can view the wording of these for your Will by a clicking on Forms of Bequest link at the left.
